Ofactum takes an active participation role in Solvotrin Thereauputics Ltd. (www.solvotrin.com) to develop Solvotrin’s advanced portfolio of products for the treatment of cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases.

Solvotrin Therapeutics, Limited is a privately held pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of innovative products for the treatment of cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases. Solvotrin’s intellectual property, developed in Trinity College Dublin (TCD) protects a family of bio-activated medicines with significant clinical advantages over currently available drugs. Solvotrin’s lead cardiovascular product ST-0701 is a bio-activated form of aspirin which provides similar pharmacological effects to conventional aspirin while protecting the gastro-intestinal tract. The Company will follow a rapid market strategy to bring the products to market.

Epi-Light

OFactum and third party partners have acquired a majority stake in
Epi-Light Ltd a specialized LED lighting system company. Epi-Light has been successfully operating at the forefront of LED systems technology across industrial, biotechnology and pharmaceutical markets for the past number of years.

The investment will provide Epi-Light with the flexibility and resources to sale up operations to meet increased customer demand while continuosly progressing a promising research and development portfolio in conjunction with its world class research partners.
